MLB Playoff And NFL PredictionsWhat's up hip hop fans? It's your man "Word" Thomas with his weekly sports report and predictions. This week it's all about those baseball playoffs and the NFL. You already know what it is so let's TAKE OFF!

In baseball "Word" predicts the Twins will beat the Tigers in Tuesday's one game playoff to decide which American League central division team goes to the post season. Serves the Tigers right though. They appeared to have the division under control and all but won once September hit, but the Twins got hot and will now be punching their post-season tickets after they beat the Tigers.

So the match-ups will look like this.... The New York Yankees will defeat the Minnesota Twins, and the L.A. Angels will knock-out the Boston Red Sox.

Over in the National League, "Word" predicts the Colorado Rockies will eliminate the defending champions, Philadelphia Phillies and the St. Louis Cardinals will surprise the L.A. Dodgers.

Over in the NFL, there are several surprises happening. The Denver Broncos deserve some praise for their 4-0 record. After they traded away Jay Cutler and suspended Brandon Marshall, did anyone believe they would be undefeated at this point? You have to give coach Josh McDaniels' and his staff credit for this effort regardless of who they beat.

On a sour note, the Tennessee Titans are 0-4. Quarterback Kerry Collins looks washed up and it appears that letting Defensive Tackle Albert Haynesworth go via free agency has been the cause of most of the Titans' woes.

Finally hip hop fans here are some tough picks for you to chew on this Sunday. First, I predict the Patriots lose at Denver. The Patriots like to pass and the strength of the Broncos defense is their secondary with guys like Brian Dawkins and Champ Bailey. Plus where did the Broncos coach come from? That's right, the New England Patriots staff.
The Colts will keep the Titans winless because Peyton Manning will be Peyton Manning and he is doing things this year that he has never done in his career, like throw for 300 yards four games in a row. He will make it five in a row this week.
The Bengals are getting their swagger back and the Ravens have been giving up a bunch of yards in the air. The Bengals win this one in a shoot-out.
The Falcons travel to San Francisco to play the 49ers. I told you all about the 49ers before the season started and I'm still riding with them! 49ers win at home over the Falcons, book it.

That's my word for the week and that's a sports rap for you, PEACE!!!
