Stars like Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez caught some flak on social media from fans who watched their appearances at the "Chime For Change" event in the U.K. last week. Critics blasted the stars for wearing skimpy outfits at an event that was supposed to empower women. But actress Jada Pinkett-Smith got irritated with all of the shade being thrown and posted a statement on Facebook.

"Whose body is this anyway?

There was some backlash about the performance outfits for the Chime concert. Since a woman’s body has been deeply connected to sin, it’s easy to forget all the power and beauty her body and sexuality possesses. Yes, with this power comes great responsibility, but how was Beyonce’s tasteful outfit irresponsible? Here is the problem I see, a woman’s body is too much power for one woman to have, even Beyonce. Although we see corporations exploit this power through women and girls, with far less clothing on than Beyonce, to sell their products, do we protest? But hey, a woman has to be in check, right? Know her position since we’ve all been taught that a powerful woman is dangerous and that a powerful man makes the world go round. Here’s the deal… soon the reign of shame on a woman’s body and her control of it will end. She will be autonomous. For she can’t truly be free without it. And oh boy…what a different world this place will be…when she is free."

''If That's Her Choice, Then That's Her Choice''

In an interview with Pacific Rim, Dawn Richard explained the Danity Kane reunion and why D. Woods hasn't re-joined the fold. Despite Woods claim that she only learned of a reunion via Twitter, Richard said that her former groupmate was invited back but declined.

"We asked D. Woods to come but then again everybody has their place and their time, and that’s okay," Richard said. "I think it was great for us to meet and there is love all around, we are too grown for there not to be. I think what the focus needs to be on is, not who didn’t show up, but the fact that after six years there was a monumental response that came from it. I think that we dwell on the negative. We should love everybody We haven’t spoken about Danity Kane in years and for us to go to lunch and it be that huge speaks volumes of our fan base."

"[D. Woods] is great. Let the girl be," she added. "Whatever people choose, let them live in their moment. If they feel like they the queen, let them live. Like, that’s okay to say ‘No.’ Damn, like I think we gotta chill out. We be doing the most. If that’s her choice, then that’s her choice and that’s cool but [we're] moving on.

Stepdad's Kanye Comments Are Proven To Be False

Kim Kardashian didn't take too kindly to her stepdad Bruce Jenner implying that Kanye West doesn't rub elbows with the Kardashian family. Jenner appeared on "Extra" last week and made it seem as though he's hardly ever seen Kanye--and Kim didn't like it one bit.

According to TMZ, Jenner and Kanye have been together on-camera several times over the past year. They were both at Kourtney Kardashian's baby shower last year, they were both at an "X-Factor" taping in November and a Clippers game in December.

Friends are claiming that Kim is ticked at Bruce for his comments, though who knows if they've actually had a conversation about Kanye lately.

Has Gucci Mane found love?

The Atlanta rap star has spent most of 2013 immersed in controversy and arrests and beefs--and oh yeah, he was in a movie--but after being spotted partying with Keyshia Dior in the ATL, rumors are beginning to swirl that the Brick Squad leader is getting serious with a special lady.

Model/lipstick entrepreneur Keyshia Dior hosted a party at Reign in Atlanta this past weekend and she brought Gucci Mane along with her.

Some photos surfaced of the two looking a lot more than friendly at the swanky event, also. Though Gucci hasn't spoken publicly about it, maybe having a woman in his life will help calm him down a little bit.
