Singer/Songwriter May Have Lost Def Jam Job

News hit earlier today (September 21st) that industry mogul Antonio "L.A." Reid had been let go by Island Def Jam as chairman and CEO. But it looks like L.A. wasn't the only one told to clear out his desk and return his access key--Terius "The-Dream" Nash may have been canned, as well.

According to GyantUnplugged, both Reid and The-Dream were fired due to overspending and lagging sales. The-Dream is a moderately successful artist on the label, but one of the top producers and songwriters. He was named an executive vice president for Island Def Jam in summer of 2009.

Following Christina Milian filing for divorce, that would make two embarrassing splits for The-Dream this year...
