Rapper Reveals How Dark His Life Became

At a screening for his short film, "Runaway," Kanye West revealed just how dark his mindset became over the last year. “There were times that I contemplated suicide," the rapper shared. "I will not give up on life again.”

“There’s so many people that will never get the chance to have their voice heard,” West said Monday. “I do it for them.” Alluding to his mother's death in 2008 and other parental figures that he's recently lost, West added that, “Everything has been taken away from me. I’m so not … scared. I so don’t care.”
