Rapper Admits Feeling Pressured On ''Thank Me Later'' 6:00AM ET November 4th, 2010 Contributor : Stephen Willis A Rocky Williform Company
Drake revealed in a recent interview the tremendous pressure he felt while making his debut album, Thank Me Later, and how his sophomore release should benefit from him being a lot less stressed about it. He also believes he's grown as a rapper.
"I remember a time I was making [my mixtape] 'So Far Gone,' there was very little stress attached to it. And I feel with “Thank Me Later,” there was a stressful environment that I was creating music in. So, this is a lot less stressful. I got 2 songs from my album, I feel like there already where I want them to be. That’s the type of music I wanna make: a lot of great raps. I got my raps up, that’s the most important thing. I feel like I’m a better rapper than I was on Thank Me Later.”
