Jay-Z Is Oprah's OWN

Oprah has launched her OWN Network with a debut show called "Master Class: Jay-Z." The show followed the iconic rapper's life story, from his childhood in Brooklyn, his success as a multiplatinum rapper, and how he uses his life as a master class to inspire others.

The network kicked off on New Year's Day and the series "Master Class" will focus on the lives successful individuals and traces that person's life and shares their life lessons that they have learned. Oprah says that the biggest lesson Jay-Z has to pass on is his ability to transcend his humble upbringings to maximize his potential.
