Lupe Fiasco has made headlines with his political views over recent months. The Chicago-born rapper decided to explain and clarify his political outlook and deny allegations that he is 'anti-Obama,' explaining that he simply believes in questioning those in power.

“We got one guy,” Lupe explained during an appearance on Comedy Central's “The Colbert Report.” “I don’t see an end to [The War On Terror.] It’s not like it’s a war of attrition.”

“I bring that mentality to all parts of my life,” Lupe said of his outspokenness and worldview. “I practice what I preach, and I preach what I practice. My music is no less an extension of my life, with the things I was taught and the way I was raised.”
