Rihanna's Cover Is 'Unpretty?'

Pop superstar Rihanna says she chose her cover for her upcoming album Talk That Talk because she thought it was edgier than the imagery she's typically known for on her album covers.

The singer even went so far as to call the cover 'unpretty.'

"This, to me, is the most unpretty cover I’ve ever done and that’s why I like it. It’s not about what I look like- how smooth and prefect it is, it’s about what my eyes say," Rihanna says. "My eyes say everything…tongue out. I don’t even give a f*ck that this is not cute because I have something to say. I gotta 'Talk That Talk.'”

Rih-Rih's 2009 album Rated R featured a dark, goth cover--hard to see how this is less 'pretty' than that one.
