Nas and Jay-Z's beef is ancient history, but the subject will be revisited in Nas' upcoming "Behind the Music" episode. The Queensbridge rapper reveals exactly how the two legendary hip hop stars began to make peace and how Jay was the first to extend an olive branch.

"We went down to the studio, man, dapped each other up and started laughing," Nas said. "Then the first thing Jay said to me, man, was 'You a'ight?' And I guess he heard about my mom passing, beyond everything else, he looked at me and said, 'Yo man, you aight?' I said, 'Yo, this is a beautiful start right here.'"

The two have been close associates, if not friends, since ending the feud back in 2002.
