Janet Jackson reportedly slapped her niece Paris Jackson during the Jackson family's well-documented confrontation at the family home in Calabasas last week, but now that story is being retracted. TMZ published the news based on various sources who claimed that Janet and Paris had a physical confrontation, but now it has been revealed to be false.

"We have now determined it was not correct," TMZ said via statement. "Janet did not slap or otherwise touch Paris, nor did she verbally abuse her."

The family has been embroiled in a battle over Katherine Jackson's estate and custody of Michael's children.
