Timbaland Criticizes Drake/Aaliyah Rumor

Timbaland spoke candidly with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club about the alleged Aaliyah project that is reportedly set to be executive-produced by Drake. The superproducer said that he isn't a fan of the idea if it doesn't include him and Missy--who both actually collaborated with Aaliyah during her career.

"I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if he do it, it should be with me and him, and Missy," he said.

"I don't know what's going on," Timbo added. "The proper way to do that would be for me him and Missy to be all on the record."

No official statement has been issued regarding the supposed project, though it has been mentioned in Drake interviews and throughout the blogosphere.
