''Stop Being Such A Harlem N***a...'' 6:00AM ET August 7th, 2012 Contributor : Monica Coleman A Rocky Williform Company
Azealia Banks may have apologized to fellow femcee Kreayshawn this weekend for their ugly Twitter-spat from earlier this year; but the spunky NYC native got into another war of words with Dipset's Jim Jones--all over the origins of the term 'vamp.'
"VAMP: a very sexually/financially powerful woman who is usually characterized by a penchant for dark things; nighttime, witchcraft, .. Etc." Azealia tweeted. One of her followers then responded with "@AZEALIABANKS but @jimjonescapo already has a track called 'Vamp Life.'"
The comment brought Jones into the conversation, who interjected simply: "@Rahim_TheDream @AZEALIABANKS tht vamplife is contagious."
That was more than enough to send Banks into one of her now-famous Twitter disses. "@jimjonescapo don't be tryna take no credit Holmes," Banks replied.
"Knock it off please learn more about Harlem before u start vampin lol jokes enjoy ur day keep #vampin" Jones shot back, to which Banks replied, " UUUUUGGGGGGHHHH SHHHUTT UP!!! Who was even taking to you in the first place?!"
"like seriously.... Stop being such a Harlem n***a right now."
"I am a Harlem n***a thts y u font belong there stay in Cali wit ur fake booooogie asss make sum $ first Lrn ur shoes n bags," was Jones' retort.
"Please go away... I was having a moment with my fans that had nothing to do with you," Azealia added.
"Tell ur mother go away ub2 bit slore," Jones blasted.
