John Mayer made headlines on gossip blogs a couple of years ago when he cracked obnoxious jokes about his penis not preferring Black women. Well, it looks like affirmative action got to his johnson--because the singer/songwriter reportedly made a play for sexy singer Rihanna.
The rumors claim that Mayer went after Rih-Rih hard, and had been trying to get her ever since a 2009 party in New York City.
“They really hit it off,” one source explained. “John was smitten. He tried to lure her back to his place on several occasions, but Rihanna just laughed him off, saying she wasn’t his type. That only made him want her more.”
And that whole Black-women-don't-turn-me-on thing?
“That was all bull because he’s a dyed-in-the-wool horn dog and ALL girls turn him on,” contended the source. “And despite what he said, Rihanna has ALWAYS been a fantasy chick for John.”
They also claim that his current squeeze and Rihanna BFF Katy Perry, is nothing more than a revenge smash.
“Katy has no idea just how hard he tried to score with Rihanna,” said another source. “Now, her pals are worried she’s headed for heartache”
