Nicki Minaj exploded in an angry Twitter rant earlier this week after Aerosmith frontman and former "American Idol" host implied that the Young Money starlet and current "Idol" host wouldn't be able to appreciate Bob Dylan.

Nicki took offense to Tyler's comment and said that they were 'racist' because she's Black and a rapper. Tyler gave his take on it in an interview with eTalk.

"I apologize if it was taken wrong, Nicki," Tyler said in the interview. "I am the last thing on this planet as far as being a racist. I don't know where she got that out of me saying I'm not sure how she would have judged Bob Dylan. ... Maybe I spoke out of turn -- but a racist I'm not, Nicki."
