Miss Universe, Leila Lopes has been spotted out with New York Giants baller Osi Umenyiora. Hip hop mogul Russell Simmons has been seen on a few red carpets with Lopes, and apparently he didn't like that the fact that he recently sent her flowers was reported on Page Six. In a brief-but-pointed series of tweets, Russ seemed to imply that Lopes leaked the story to make it look like he was sweating her.

"Leila lopes @MissUniverse U need to stop, my flowers were to wish u well, not to make your boy jealous ? :-) why put them on pg 6?" he tweeted. "I was out w[ith] my girl, sorry I missed ur party. Don’t stir up sh.."

"Don’t be publicity whore or push your boys buttons," he added. "Love you."

And that is how you tactfully check someone on Twitter.
