Years ago, explicit footage surfaced of rapper/actress Eve and her then-boyfriend, producer (now reality TV star) Stevie J, engaging in explicit sex acts. Eve has addressed the situation before, but recently revisited that time in her life and said that she never used the footage to boost her career.

At the time, she says, sex tapes weren't the publicity fodder they are today.

"It definitely didn't [boost her career]," Eve said on "RapFix Live." "When that happened, sex tapes weren't 'hot' like that, and I got the FBI involved. So that's not something I wanted to happen."
