Rapper Insists He's Really From Compton

Footage of Young Money rapper Tyga participating in a cheesy game show called "Bustas" surfaced a couple of weeks ago and he's been trying to live it down ever since. Some fans have openly wondered about certain remarks he made on the show regarding his upbringing; specifically, Tyga's claim that he lived in a nice area of the Valley.

Tyga is insisting that he only said that for that show. He only lived in the Valley temporarily and he really is from Compton, CA.

The Young Money star has been fairly defiant about the clip, mocking it on Twitter and reportedly telling friends that "he still has plenty of money and will still have huge hits."

Eh, he's probably right.
