Eve is still trying to clarify her statement regarding Britney Spears' singing on will.i.am's single "Scream & Shout." Eve made comments that seemed to imply that she didn't think Spears actually did the singing on the track, which resulted in Spears' camp issuing a catty response to the rapper.

But Eve says she didn't mean that Spears didn't sing.

"I didn't say anything about her singing. I said something about her British accent," Eve stated to TMZ. "We know it's Britney Spears singing the song. I never said anything."
