Last year there were several unsubstantiated rumors floating around about Drake and Rihanna possibly being a couple but nothing ever came of them. However, Drizzy recently confirmed what we all believed to be true in an interview with the New York Times. He has a verse on Thank Me Later's opening salvo "Fireworks" about Rihanna. The singer asked Drake to write a song for her album which never surfaced and the two began spending a lot of time together before RiRi eventually kicked Drake to the curb.
"I was a pawn," Drake said. The song he wrote for her never got released. "You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I've done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear," he said. "I was like, wow, this feels terrible."
Rihanna has since moved on to Matt Kemp while Drake just wants to f%*k every girl in the world and everyone is happy.
But seriously, could this dude be any more emo?
