With Thank Me Later still riding the charts and singles still yet to hit the airwaves, superstar rapper Drake claims to have already begun work on his follow-up."Started my new album last night," the rapper posted on Twitter. Drake also announced that he'll be shooting a video for "Miss Me" this week.

If Drake is planning on recording and releasing a new album uber-quickly, that would be a rare--but not unprecedented--feat. In 1998, DMX released his highly-anticipated and platinum-selling debut and successful sophomore set in the same calendar year; but second Drake release may be oversaturating the market a bit in 2010.
