Kanye (Over)Praises Nicki Minaj

Kanye West recently appeared on Angie Martinez's Hot 97 radio show to discuss his newly-leaked track "See Me Now" and made some rather eyebrow raising comments regarding the hottest rapper in the game--and the biggest rapper of all time.

When asked who challenges him the most musically right now, Ye had a somewhat surprising response. "This is such a big statement and such a big thing to fill but I think the scariest artist in the game right now is definitely Nicki Minaj," the rapper said. "And I think she has the most potential out of everyone to be the Number 2 rapper of all time. Because nobody’s gonna be bigger than Eminem. Eminem is the #1 Rapper of all time."

So does selling the most records make one the biggest rapper ever? And shouldn't you at least drop one album before even being considered for any 'all-time' conversations?

Nicki does have alot of talent and she has POTENTIAL to be great. But definitely not one of the greatEST.

I don't think it's a over praise i think it's a positive opinion about her talent potential in a estimated way of thinking.
