As co-host of BET's "106 & Park," Rocsi is one of the most influential and beloved personalities on entertainment television. The show is one of the highest rated for its demographic and has made Rocsi a pop culture icon to the under-25 generation. "I love my job and there’s nothing in the world that would bring me to leave '106,'" Rocsi said in 2009. "I think we’re getting bigger and badder and there’s no point in me leaving right now."
The beautiful Latina's face has graced the covers of magazines from Honey to Complex.
Rocsi is also founder of the RocStar Foundation, a nonprofit that focuses on rebuilding schools in post-Katrina New Orleans, her hometown.
The popular personality was also named a spokeswoman for Peta2, the teen and young adult-oriented arm of PETA. Rocsi has also been an advocate for raising awareness about eating disorders amongst young women of color; having struggled with anorexia as a teen. “I love the kids,” she says. “I love going out there every day. I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t love it.”
