Atlanta is a hotbed of hip hop music and culture, and no one is arguably more respected on hip hop radio in Atlanta than DJ Greg Street. One of the most recognizable voices in radio, with a career spanning decades, Street also was a contributor and a panelist on BET's "Top 10 MCs of the 21st Century" special.
Street is granted exclusive interview with the biggest names in hip hop regularly, and is also an active figure in the community, showcasing his charitable efforts with the Greg Street Scholarship Fund, and ws the first recipient of the Think B.I.G. Heart Award from the Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace Memorial Foundation.
Aside from radio, the V-103 DJ annually hosts his Sneaker Friends Party, V-103’s Car and Bike Show, with more than 36,000 people supporting this year’s event.
In 2010, Street was the recipient of The Source magazine’s Power 30 Radio DJ Award, which recognizes hip hop radio’s most influential DJ’s.
