T-Pain is one of the most well-known and seemingly omnipresent personalities in hip hop. The AutoTuned singer continues to not only be one of the more successful artists in urban music, but he also has become a go-to artist for features. In the past year, T-Pain has appeared on tracks with artists as widely varied as Flo Rida, Slash, Bun B. and Taylor Swift.
T-Pain also branched out into television production. In 2009, he produced the controversial cartoon Freaknik: The Musical for Cartoon Network which became a ratings success. He also made his feature film debut in Ice Cube's summer comedy Lottery Ticket.
T-Pain took home a 2010 Grammy Award for his work with Jamie Foxx on Foxx's smash hit "Blame It." The singer also announced plans to work with some Christian artists/producers on an album of gospel music.
"If [an artist] comes to me, I want to give them something fresh," T-Pain says. "I don’t want to give them something I’ve been sitting on for a long time. So, I make it right in front of them, that way they know every element that’s in the track."
