Vashtie Kola is a hip hop renaissance woman. A designer, video director, party promotor and model, the New Yorker is already an iconic figure in design circles. An alumnus of the Manhattan-based School of Visual Arts, Vashtie Kola has become a go-to promotor for the trendiest parties in NYC, including her 90s-themed "1992" series, and "Open," her party series with Q-Tip.
Named as one of VIBE Magazine's "31 Most Stylish People Under 31," Kola has also worked over the past two years as a creative consultant for major brands and companies such as Universal Def Jam and Atlantic Records. In 2010, she was tapped by Nike to design a limited edition Air Jordan sneaker.
Violette Clothing Line, described as the signature brand as the the Lower East Side dwelling daughter of Louis Vuitton who wears “cool t-shirt, kicks, and a great handbag." Kola is also an accomplished video director, having handled the vids for Kid Cudi's "Heaven at Nite," Jadakiss' "Letter to B.I.G." and many more.
