William Not many rappers can claim to have had a better year than Miami superstar Rick Ross. Ross' album Teflon Don debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, selling 176,000 copies in its first week. The rapper, always maintaining his visibility, also collaborated with Erykah Badu and The Sneaker Pimps.

The rapper gave a well-received performance at the 2010 BET Awards and took home two trophies at the BET Hip Hop Awards. The rapper also announced his upcoming "Blowing Money Fast" Tour in support of the successful Teflon Don.

After the devastating earthquake that rocked Port-au-Prince in January of 2010, Ross hosted a blood drive to aid victims of the disaster. The rapper also continued to spearhead Rick Ross Charities by hosting the 3rd Annual Rick Ross Be Out Day, an event designed to promote education amongst teens.

"[It took] ten years for me to get on and establish myself," Ross said. "And I feel that we're most definitely catering to the streets because that's what it falls back on."
