Jim Jonsin, an American record producer and songwriter, has produced hits for top megastars like T.I., Usher, Soulja Boi, Lil’ Wayne, Kid Cudi and Nelly and won the 2010 BMI Pop Award, the BMI Songwriter of the Year in 2009 and was named Billboards #3 Hot Producer of 2009.
The man behind such inescapable hits as Lil Wayne's "Lollipop," Jonsin is currently a co-publisher with EMI Music Publishing, Rebel Rock Entertainment and with the management company Made Communication.
Throughout 2010, Jonsin has produced smash hits for Kid Cudi and Kanye West, and he contributed tracks to B.o.B.’s album The Adventures of Bobby Ray and T.I.’s yet-to-be-released King Uncaged. .Jonsin is also currently working on Nelly’s “5.0” and Jay Sean’s “Freeze Time”, further proving his creativity and work ethic.
"I’m a producer who kind of gets into the artist and their sound," Jonsin explained in early 2010. "And tries to just enhance it in my way. Just kind of, my own way of making their sound merge with whatever I would do."
