Terius Youngdell Nash, better known as 'The-Dream,' is one of music's most successful singer songwriter and producers. Releasing a chart-topping album in 2009 Love Vs. Money, which debuted #2 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, and his latest album Love King, which debuted at #4 on the U.S. Billboard 200, The Dream has established himself to be a consistent artist and hitmaker.
The-Dream's success creatively and in mentoring/producing artists such as Rihanna and Ciara led to his being named Executive Vice President of Island Def Jam in 2009 and he will be debuting a reality series for MTV that will focus on scouting aspiring new artists. He also will release his fashion line, Millionaire Love Affair, next year. "I appreciate people knowing how hard I work to try to push music," the artist said in a 2009 interview. "And I'm focused on bringing back albums in the truest sense."
Winning three Grammy Awards in 2010 for Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Best R&B Song, the writer/producer recently completed work on Beyonce's upcoming album, which is slated for release in early 2011.
