As host of Fuse's Hip Hop Shop, Toure is one of the most visible hip hop journalists on television, and has landed some of the most talked-about interviews with hip hop's most notable personalities. Not to be limited to just hip hop artists and audiences, Toure also hosts the network's popular "On the Record" show.
Toure continues to be one of the most respected contributors to Rolling Stone, and he wrote the magazine's 2011 cover story on soul singer Adele.
He also published his latest book, Who's Afraid of Post-Blackness in the fall of 2011. The book examines race in the post-Obama era. He also contributed pieces to ESPN and The Daily Beast, among other popular publications and outlets in 2011.
