The man who has held interviews with everyone from Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All and Snoop Dogg is one of hip hop's most well-known and powerful personalities in journalism. He's definitely the go-to personality in the U.K. for the best and sharpest in superstar interviews.

Westwood landed some of the year's biggest and most talked-about interviews. He spoke with YouTube sensation-turned-pop-rap-star to Kreayshawn about the controversial use of the N-Word, talked to Nas and Damian Marley by their collaborative works together. He landed notable freestyle performances by new superstars like Big Sean, icons like Eminem and veterans like Erick Sermon.

Westwood still occasionally gets star-struck. He admitted that he hugged 'Nicki Minaj 20 times,' when the sexy rapstress appeared on his show.

Westwood was also revealed to be the most popular DJ personality for troops stationed in Afghanistan. He even participated in some drills. "Yes, I was quite stressed about it," Westwood said. "I ended up with quite a few cuts on my arms. His teeth went through the sleeves."
