He's a rapper, businessman, actor, pitchman, and philanthropist. Snoop Dogg is still arguably the most recognized man in hip hop, and he continues to ensure that his profile will not be diminishing any time soon.
With two decades worth of music, Snoop has become one of the most in-demand live performers in hip hop. The rapper headlined the LoveBox Fest and Supafest and launched a tour of the UK. became a pitchman for the 4G Samsung Galaxy, temporarily changing his name to 'Snoop Dogggg' for the promotion.
Always a multi-faceted entertainer, Snoop launched his own webseries, "The Double G News Network" in 2011 to offer his unique spin on pop culture and provide fans with outlandish antics. Snoop Dogg also announced that he was developing his own family sitcom, as well.
He continues his work with his Youth Football League, which has continued to expand all over the country. Snoop also took in a troubled teenager this year, to help provide a stable environment and guidance for the teen. "A lot of kids that I work with, I take under my wing," he says. "There's one living with us now that was an at-risk kid. He's becoming more productive. As opposed to being a great athlete, we're making him a great person."
