DJ Drama has made himself one of the most recognized DJs in hip hop. There isn't a more respected mixture DJ in hip hop than Drama, and he maintains that status by maintaining strong ties to seemingly everyone in the rap game, from Diddy to T.I. to Ludacris. His name is one of the most recognized brands in mixtapes, and his mixtures are among the most anticipated releases year after year.
Drama stayed as busy as ever in 2011, working on mixtapes by Young Jeezy, Curren$y and Travis Porter, among others. He's also been working closely with rapper and friend T.I., since the emcee's release from prison. He's also released singles alongside Pusha T., J. Cole and French Montana.
He and T.I. have already prepped material for release and Drama's upcoming album, Third Power, looks to be one of the most anticipated compilation releases of the year. “The Third Power signifies my third wave to hip hop” says the DJ. “I’m basically looking to keep the momentum going and the movement of quality music going.”
