Radio superstar Angela Yee ended 2010 with a major professional transition. The frank and funny DJ left Sirius/XM's Shade 45 for a co-hosting gig on Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club." She joined Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy to form the hottest new trio in radio. "The Breakfast Club" have become an immediate hit, garnering some of the most controversial interviews of the year.
"The Breakfast Club" is bolstered by Yee's strong Twitter presence and her popular interview style. Yee also works as a correspondent for MTV2's "Sucker Free."
Yee was named one of the top radio personalities nationwide in the The Source Magazine's "Power 30" special issue. "I love doing interviews but yeah, I hope to have a long career like Wendy Williams, like Angie Martinez has, or just a lot of people in radio that I look up to," she revealed to The Urban Daily. "Howard Stern has had a really long career. I just hope that things keep on getting better and better and better, but we should definitely branch out into television soon too."
