Funkmaster Flex is more than just the voice of New York City hip hop radio, he's quite possibly the most respected hip hop radio DJ in the country.
Flex has built a reputation for landing exclusive interviews with the biggest names in the industry, and he has continued that trend. Recent explosive interviews with Soulja Boy, Rick Ross, Kanye West and Lil Wayne during his stay at Rikers Island, have only added to Flex's repertoire of heavyweights who have sat down to talk on NYC's Hot 97.
Flex continued his successful partnership with Ford, debuting his custom 2010 Taurus SHO at the 2009 SEMA Auto Show. The DJ also debuted a custom Ford Mustang for superstar rapper Snoop Dogg.
The avid auto enthusiast even signed an exclusive endorsement deal with Flowmaster Mufflers. Flex will help to create materials for TV, radio and events, in what the company has called 'a series of high impact media campaigns.' Flex is also prepping a new car customization show for MTV2 called "Full Throttle."
