"Because of the freedom [our show] has, we can just spontaneously put a guest on the air to break news," Yee explained in 2010. "We also know a lot of artists and people behind the scenes personally, so they feel comfortable talking to us and know that we won't try to make them look bad for the sake of ratings. Once we break a story, we make sure to post the audio/video for people who didn't hear it firsthand and it really spreads after that."
The Wesleyan graduate is the most well-known female satellite radio DJ. As the most popular personality on Em's Shade 45 Sirius channel, Yee is noted for her frank and candor style of interviewing and her ability to get even the most secretive celebrity to open up on her show.
Yee launched her own blogsite, TeamYee.tv in late 2009. The popular radio host also partnered with Carmella Bella for the sports-centric talk show "2 Girls 1 Ball."
