Toure
By Martin Davies Tuesday, November 16th, 2010
Toure Toure has become FUSE TV's foremost authority on hip hop. The respected journalist has secured some of 2010s most talked-about interviews; he sat down with T.I. following the rapper's release from prison, Lauryn Hill when she announced that she was making her long-awaited return to the industry, spoke to Lady Gaga about her controversial image and music, and he talked to Jay-Z last year on the eve of Blueprint 3's release.

Almost twenty years of journalistic experience have given the outspoken author and host a credibility un-matched by most of his peers on entertainment television, and he is unafraid to ask tough questions. Toure was also named one of the "Most Powerful Black Men On Twitter." He is an ongoing presence on hip hop panels around the country and an outspoken voice for young black liberals.

As if hosting FUSE's "Hip Hop Shop" and "On the Record" weren't enough, he is also a regular contributor to MSNBC's "The Dylan Ratigan Show," proving that the hip hop generation has a voice in more than just hip hop circles. He also contributed to Rolling Stones '500 Greatest Songs of All Time' this year, giving a list heavy on 60s rock and soul a much-needed dose of Generation Y hip hop presence.
