Pharrell Williams

Pharrell Williams does a little bit of everything. The superproducer/recording artist/philanthropist/businessman keeps his hands in so many different pots, its sometimes difficult to succinctly describe in a few paragraphs. As one of the most consistent hitmakers in music, Pharrell was as in-demand in the studio in 2011 as he has been at any point in his lengthy career.

Williams produced for Kanye West and Jay-Z’s blockbuster Watch the Throne album and Game’s The R.E.D. Album, as well as handling the boards for artists like British rapper Tinie Tempah and Latin pop icon Gloria Estefan.

In 2011, Williams partnered with Diageo, one of the largest liquor manufacturers in the world, to launch his own premium liqueur “Qream With A ‘Q.’” Pharrell became the new face of Palladium boots and he also was named the creative director for online retail giant Karmaloop.

Ever the philanthropist, Pharrell’s From One Hand To Another Foundation also financed a $35 million resource center for children in his hometown of Virginia Beach. The Pharrell Williams Resource Center is designed to provide young people with a place to go after school to get extra assistance with academics and to provide a place where they can engage with mentors and learn about business and finance.
