Founder "Grouchy" Greg Watkins and his partner, Chuck "Jigsaw" Creekmur, founded the website in the late 90s and in the 2000s, it became the leading voice for hip hop news, gossip and information online. It is now the world's most visited website, landing 7 million unique visitors monthly.
AllHipHop also partnered with the League to host BarackTalk, a live State of the Union commentary stream back in January. Several progressive leaders, hip hop bloggers and artists chimed in to give their take on the President's speech and policies.
