Drake's dominance of the pop charts continued into 2011. After the success of the Toronto rapper's debut album, Thank Me Later, he was nominated for four Grammy awards at the 2011 ceremony; including Best Rap Album and Best Rap Solo Performance.
Additionally, Drake's reputation as a chart-topper has given him considerable influence in urban music circles, with his associate the Weeknd becoming one of the most talked-about new artists in music--largely due to Drake endorsing the artist's talents.

"Headlines" the first single from Take Care peaked at number 13 on the Billboard charts, which was Drake's second-highest debut.
