As Chairman and CEO of Atlantic Records, Craig Kallman heads one of the music industry's most powerful labels. Home to acts like T.I., Wiz Khalifa and countless others, Kallman and Atlantic house some of music's biggest names and several of the industry's most respected imprints.
As to be expected, Atlantic Records artists took home a bevy of Grammy Awards in 2011, with B.o.B, Janelle Monae and Bruno Mars among nominees and Jay-Z taking home the award for "Best Rap/Sung Collaboration."
Kallman also spearheaded Atlantic Records' website relaunch. It say the iconic label digging into the vaults and digitizing old photos, concert posters, and recorded interviews involving some of the iconic acts it has represented over 63 years. They resurrected material from acts ranging form Ray Charles to Jackson Browne.
Kallman is also passionate about improving the sound of music, and is spearheading Atlantic's push into releasing high-resolution music. He hosted an informal summit in early 2011 to share his vision for improving sound quality for fans and musicians.
