''He's Opening the Door For Someone Like Me'' 6:00AM ET June 12th, 2013 Contributor : Chris G. A Rocky Williform Company
Since Seattle rapper Macklemore has crossed over to pop stardom on the strength of his hit single "Thrift Shop," he has become one of the more polarizing newcomers in hip-hop. While some deride the White emcee for watering down the culture with what could be dismissed as a novelty hit, Roc Nation rapper J. Cole feels that Macklemore is good for the genre and for hip hop radio.
"Look at Macklemore," Cole told the Huffington Post. "He has ['Thrift Shop'], the No. 1 song in the country, and there are kids who don't even listen to rap who live by him."
"So as much as people hate, he's opening the door for someone like me to come back on the Billboard charts with 'Crooked Smile,'" Cole added.

''I'm Going To Point A N***a Out When He Bogus'' 6:00AM ET June 11th, 2013 Contributor : Chris G. A Rocky Williform Company
In an interview with XXL, Freddie Gibbs discusses his split from Young Jeezy's CTE label in late 2012. Despite indicating that the split was amicable at the time, Gibbs is now explaining why he feels he was shorted by the Atlanta hip hop star.
"I think when it comes to credibility in this game, you gotta think about me. Sh*t, ain’t nobody realer than me in this game. Definitely not [Young] Jeezy, so I am about to show you all that," Gibbs says.
"At first, when that whole [label] split happened, I was being political about it," Gibbs explains. "I was thinking, ‘Man, I don’t want to f**k up my relationship.’ But f**k that sh*t, my n***a. I’m feeding the whole city. [Young Jeezy] don’t do sh*t for me."
"I am going to point a n***a out when he bogus, and he was bogus for not owing up to his business relationship and doing what he was supposed to do business-wise," Gibbs added.

Singers' February Brawl Could Be A Probation Violation 6:00AM ET June 11th, 2013 Contributor : Chris G. A Rocky Williform Company
Chris Brown could face battery charges over his parking lot fight with fellow R&B star Frank Ocean back in February. XXLMag reports that Brown headed to court late yesterday (June 10) for a probation hearing, and it has yet to be reported whether or not the incident was brought up in regards to his probation.
Ocean initially announced via a Tumblr post that he would not press charges against Brown shortly after the incident occurred.
"I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace,” Ocean posted in February.
Brown was also involved in a hit and run accident last month. That accident is currently being investigated.
