Eazy E Allegedly Wanted Suge Knight Dead

Ruthless Records co-founder Jerry Heller is claiming that Eazy E's rivalry with Suge Knight could've taken a fatal turn. In an interview with Prezident Bejda of The Murder Master Music Show, Heller said that Eazy was ready to murder Suge.

"Eazy said, 'You know this guy Suge Knight?' I said, 'Yeah.' He says, 'Well, I'm gonna kill him!' He said, 'This guy is gonna be a problem and I think I should kill him.' I said, 'Let me think this thing through. First of all, we're doing $10 million a month with six employees. We don't even have a typewriter in the office. We're the most successful start-up record company in the history of the music business and you want to kill this guy? That just doesn't make any sense to me.'"

"You know something? I should have let him kill him. You know? I would have done the world a favor," Heller then said. "He would have done it for sure by himself. He always rolled by himself and he was fearless...I think that he was going to go do it. I took him seriously." "He was right and I was wrong," he later added. "I shouldn't have talked him out of it. Ruthless would probably still be around. Dr. Dre and Ice Cube would probably still be with Ruthless. It would have been an empire."

T.I. Makes His Label Demands

Former Atlantic Records hip-hop star T.I. isn't trying to hear any conversation about signing with any new label if they aren't talking the right amount of money. During a recent radio interview, Tip made it plain that he knows his worth and only wants to discuss signing with a label that understands how many ways he generates revenue.

"I am currently a free agent. Everything's coming out my pockets. Y'all do me all the favors you want to," he told 94.3. "There's nothing wrong with a helping hand. [laughs] You know what the problem is, nobody wants to pay fair market value. I done went into all the distribution houses, the Sony's, the Universal's and the Warner's of the world and it's across the board. The consensus is pretty much unanimous, they want to be in business, they just don't want to pay to be in business. And so I'ma tell you like this -- you might be able to catch you knows who's out of you knows where but you ain't gonna be able to get no 'King' on your roster, man or anything less than eight-figures. I'm just gonna tell everybody, let that be a message to you. I can nickel and dime myself to where I'm going."

"You got the recording industry, publishing, you got touring, you got merch, you got film, you got television, you got fashion, you know what I'm saying?" he continued. "Technology. That's eight areas of business, right now currently, that I'm generating streams of revenue from. If you feel like you want to participate in all eight of those things, it's going to cost you about 50, 60 million [dollars]. But if you only want one or two of those things, then come to the table with 12 or 15 [million dollars], we can talk about that too."

Mister Cee Promotes Safe Sex In New PSA

Mister Cee is using his scandalous history with prostitutes as motivation to start a conversation about STDs and sex addiction. The Hot 97 radio personality is appearing in a new PSA addressing the need for safe sex.

"What's going on everybody, it's Mister Cee representing Hot 97. As all of you know, I've been through a lot this week with my situation and my addiction. I can honestly say I have an addiction and that's something I'm going to have to deal with as I move forward in my life. But to all of you out there, I know there's a lot of y'all that got y'all situations that y'all go through sexually. Whether it's fellas messing with two or three women at a time or even some of you women. Women are just as much as cheaters as men out there. I mean, let's just be honest, man. Everybody is not living a righteous lifestyle out there. Even myself. What I wanted to do today is to talk about the importance of safe sex, talk about the importance of using a condom, just talking about the importance of being healthy in your life as far as taking an HIV test. Now when I say taking an HIV test, the first thing people think about is that, 'I don't want anybody to know my business.' Well, I got a little situation for you. You can go to AIDS Healthcare Foundation."

Floyd Mayweather Explains Split With 50 Cent

Floyd Mayweather spoke to "The Breakfast Club" this week about his split from friend and former business partner, 50 Cent. Despite their long-standing friendship, Floyd says it was business that came between them.

It's just like, when it comes to business, sometimes two people don't see eye-to-eye," Mayweather revealed. "We just didn't see eye-to-eye with the business. And it's sometimes best, when you don't see eye-to-eye, for him to go his way and for me to go my way. He invested money into his own company. My company has always been Money Mayweather Promotions. That's been my company from the beginning. And I know 50 has had G-Unit from the beginning and I know he's with Interscope. So, Mayweather Promotions has been the only company I've been with, which is my company."

"Like I said before, it's just business, just not seeing eye-to-eye with business and he's entitled to say whatever he wants to say," he added."Just because he may say something negative, don't mean I'm going to say something negative. I have to be the bigger person."

50 Cent Acknowledges Sales Decline

50 Cent acknowledged that the times have completely shifted when it comes to the music industry and album sales since he debuted in 2003. His Get Rich Or Die Tryin' sold more than 10 million copies, and Fiddy says he understands that those days are long gone.

"Newsflash, I’ll never sell 13 million records again,” said 50 Cent. “I’ll never sell 10 million records again. I don’t think anybody’s gonna do it. It’s a different business. It’s a different thing and I’m cool with that. I’m making music because I love it and it’s why I’m here. There’s nothing that can actually compare when it’s right. What it feels like when it’s right. When the music is just dead right and it’s like ‘woo’ that energy that’s there…that’s some special kind of high that you get addicted to and you’ll chase it for the rest of your actual career.”
