Miami bass legend Luther "Uncle Luke" Campbell is still steaming over the fact that French Montana sampled his early 1990s hit "I Wanna Rock" for his hit track "Pop That." Despite not owning the rights to "I Wanna Rock," Luke says he was offended by the way Diddy handled the situation.

"Ok, let me tell you how it all went off. In the beginning Puffy told me to come to do a video shoot in Miami on Memorial Day last year," Luke said in an interview with Hot 97. "I asked, 'What video shoot, to what song?,' because I work with a lot of kids. They never told me the name of the song nor did they ever send me a copy of the song. So they were basically trying to set me up to be a part of a video shoot to a song that had me appearing on it. Second of all, these guys had press conferences - this stuff is all online - and this guy is sitting here saying, 'Hey I just did a song with Uncle Luke and all these other guys on the song.' So we're seeing this information online and seeing all the press conferences, and I'm thinking like, 'What song did I do with this guy? I really don't even know the guy.' So they did the video and that's why I didn't appear in the video, because I wasn't going to appear in anything I didn't hear or know anything about."

Rapper and Actor Could Be Collaborating

Comedian/actor Chris Rock tweeted a photo of himself and hip-hop superstar Eminem in the studio together this week. It isn't known why the two stars were in the studio together, but Rock has appeared on hip-hop albums for several years now.

The funnyman was featured on Ol' Dirty Bastard's N***a Please album and Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

And Em has been known to incorporate comedic interludes and skits into his music.

One can only imagine what they could come up with together.

Shots Fired At Lubbock, TX Show

A performance by Atlanta trio Travis Porter at the Cactus Courtyard in Lubbock, TX was interrupted by gunshots. In the early hours of May 8th, someone opened fire into the Cactus Courtyard as the group was performing.

According to reports, two gunshots were fired during the incident, with one bullet hitting a back wall and another hitting the venue’s sound system. No serious injuries were reported, but one attendee suffered a minor injury due to falling debris.

Police are looking for an African-American male, 5 ‘8 to 5 ’9 and around 180 pounds. Travis Porter have yet to respond publicly to the incident.

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Lauryn Hill will be going to prison for three months in July, but despite that harsh reality, the star decided to thank everyone who's supported her during her highly-publicized tax evasion ordeal. Hill posted a series of "thank yous" on her Tumblr account.
