Ensemble Action Film Finishes Atop Box Office

Contrary to earlier reports, it looks like T.I.'s heist flick Takers was in fact #1 in total grosses this past weekend. The Last Exorcism came in a close second and the total numbers were neck-and-neck.

The movie raked in an impressive $20.5 million, beating it’s rival opening film by just shy of $200,000.

T.I. and co-star Chris Brown served as executive producers for the project, which was produced by Rainforest Films and T.I's Grand Hustle Films.
