Another rapper-related controversy.
It's looking like a bad week for Bankhead rappers. Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo's baby's
mother, (formerly his fiancée), Ecreia Perez, was arrested
after being found with a semi-automatic handgun and stungun at
Atlanta's Fulton County Courthouse's security checkpoint.
She was there to get her shoplifting charges dismissed but she clearly
must have had other intentions although those are not yet (thankfully)
clear to the public.
Perez told police that she simply forgot the items were in her purse.
Perez’s bail was set at $6,000 and she was released yesterday.
She and Shawty Lo announced their engagement in June. But Shawty, real name Carlos Walker, broke off the engagement to his girlfriend of 10 years after he caught Perez allegedly cheating on him.
