British singer/femcee/songwriter Estelle is almost done prepping her forthcoming album, All of Me. The album is set to be released later this fall.
“I’m nearly done, I wanted to put it out in September, but then I had another idea,” said Estelle. “So I went back and said let me start recording some more things. I think I have another two weeks of recording, then we’ll go ahead start mixing it, and then get it out," she said. Her single, "Freak", was released earlier this year to some controversy over the music video, which appeared to showcase the singer in 'blackface.' No word on if the song is still on the album.
“It’s too many people, so many people that I remember owe me features right now,” she said. “Hopefully I want to get Ghost Face Killah on the album, we talked about some stuff. I’m featured on his last album, so I want to get back up with him. There’s a song I just wrote the other day that I want to get Mr Hudson on and we've been speaking about working together. The way I work is like, do the record and then I’ll pull people in. So I’m at that point of pulling people in now."
