New Material To Hit Stores In October

A posthumous Pimp C album is being prepared for an October release. According to Rap-A-Lot Records, the new album will feature an all-star lineup including Pimp C's UGK partner Bun B., Trill label mates Webbie & Lil Boosie, E-40, Drake, Chamillionaire, Too $hort, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy and more.

Pimp C., born Chad Butler, was found dead in his Los Angeles hotel room on December 4th, 2007, just as their album UGK 4 Life landed at #6 on Billboard's Top 200 chart. He handled most of the production on the pioneering southern hip hop duo's albums.

Sweet James Jones Stories is due in stores October 5th.
