Cash Money has diversified it's roster quite a bit since it's Hot Boys/Big Tymers days in the late 90s, but the label's co-founder, Brian "Birdman" Williams, recently revealed that they missed the chance to sign quite a few up-and-comers who went on to become some of the biggest stars of the 2000s. Birdman revealed who came this close to rocking a Cash Money logo.
"I ran into a lot of them, I never spoke on this," Baby shared with radio personality Angela Yee. "I had a chance with Keyshia Cole. I had a chance with [Young] Jeezy. T.I. Yeah, T.I. used to be in the studio with us, writing every day. We used to let him come in the studio and just chill with us when he was out there in Atlanta, when we used to go out there and record. A lot of them, I wish, but at that time we was just young, focusing on us. But, they went and made great careers."
