Inspectah Deck Death Rumors?

Rumors began circulating on the internet that Wu-Tang Clan lyricist Inspectah Deck had passed away. The confusion stemmed from a "rest in peace" mention that Raekwon made during the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards, which aired last night (October 12th) on BET. "Yo stop the music Premier...yo rest in peace my brother from the Wu, Inspectah Deck," Raekwon said during the show.

However, Rae was offering condolences to Deck's mother: "His old earth. His mother. Ms. Jason Hunter," Rae added soon therafter. "Mrs. Hunter, we love you. Rest in peace."

Many people apparently missed Raekwon's clarification and rumors of Inspectah Deck's death soon spread on social networking sites like Twitter. These rumors, of course, are unfounded.
