Kanye West took the long road to get to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The rapper revealed recently exactly how his upcoming album metamorphosed from it's original incarnation as Good Ass Job to it's present form. Apparently, West just got bored with the original concept and didn't like the idea of utilizing skits.

"I remember I just changed it because I didn't want to do the Good Ass Job thing and have to stick to the skits and everything that went with that," West told MTV News. "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and my album cover are just ... those things are just awesome. It's really proper, decadent, soulful lavishness, and it's exactly what I wanna say."

Skits were prominently featured on his first three albums, and they helped tie the albums together thematically.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy drops on November 22nd.
